June 2009

Photographer Jonathan Kirshner is hired by Dot Foods of Mt Sterling, Illinois, to create new images of their corporate headquarters and of a trailer honoring the company's founders, Robert and Dorothy Tracy.

Lovelight Photography becomes charter members of the Capitol Area Independent Business Alliance (CAIBA).

We're excited to announce that The Wardrobe boutique in Springfield, Illinois, is joining The Lovelght Studios wedding partnership. The boutique features designer clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories and gifts. A commercial photo shoot is in the works so check back soon.

The law firm of Jenner & Block, headquartered in Chicago, commissions Jonathan Kirshner to photograph the firm's Chairman Anton Valukas as he testifies before a Illinois Senate Committee hearing.

The Lovelight Studios celebrates Earth Day by ordering a new solar-powered attic fan to help reduce the heating and cooling needs of our 85-year-old restored building. We've also installed solar-powered flood lights to light our sign.

Jonathan Kirshner of Lovelight Photography wins a first place award in the Wedding Photojournalist Association's quarterly photo contest. The photo was from a wedding reception held at the Illini Country Club.

The Lovelight Studios can be seen in the llinois Times wedding guide. A collection of photos by Lovelight Photography are exclusively used to illustrate their four-page wedding planner section in the guide.

The Lovelight Studios crew can be seen at the annual "Everything Weddings Expo" on Sunday, Jan. 25, in the Orr Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.

Jonathan Kirshner is hired by the European Pressphoto Agency to photograph the impeachment trial of Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
